BOSTON -- After a two-month stretch between victories, the Philadelphia 76ers celebrated for the second time in less than a week. Michael Carter-Williams and Henry Sims scored 24 points apiece and led the Sixers on a late surge that was too much for Boston to overcome in Philadelphias 111-102 win over the Celtics on Friday night. "We really wanted this win. I think its a great win for us," said Carter-Williams, who scored seven points during an 11-4 run for the Sixers late in the fourth quarter.
